Installed a lightbar using its wiring harness, pulles main power off the battery. Switch illumination and relay trigger power come from the tail light fuse. Sitting here listening to the radio (weak stations due to locatio) when I turn on the lightbar, thhe station drops, and the "ST" indicator on radio goes off.
Only one strong station here, doesnt happen to it.

    What the snoopy?

Does it say to wire the harness that way?
I just did a light bar install last week and it has the main power going to the battery off the harness relay and then to the switch.indicator light goes to the dash lights.Black to black and then switch leg to led light bar. It does sound like some interference but the tali light fuse is the same circuit as the radio . I personally would find another power source

I put them on LED spot wires near the spot head.

These are the same little doohickeys that you sometime see on power cords for laptops.

Bought used, no directions. The wiring harness had the switch constant hot, I dont want that, so I didnt use that. I'll try a different circuit to tap into for switch illumination and relay trigger, or maybe separate circuits for each
