    New fridge installed. I messed around with it last night in the living room. It maintained good temperatures all night. Now I need to get it set correctly for the outdoors.

    The fridge slide is significantly improved over the old design. It's considerably more beefed-up and includes a manual lock to prevent it from slamming against the slide stops and latch.

    The cover is also considerably better made. Looks to be a better material than the old and also has more secure coverage including a zipper that completely encompasses the fridge, minus open spots at the handles, vents and 12v/24v power plug.

    The fridge did arrive with some cosmetic damage and some incorrectly installed hardware, but I've contacted Mike and we have agreed on a fix to the issue.

    Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the fridge and I hope I can get that freezer to stay considerably below freezing.

    ETA: Looks like battery protection has kicked in preventing the compressor from keeping the fridge going. I'll be driving around to charge it up.
