Had my mother in law sew some lines in my rip away med kits molle. The way it’s designed, the Velcro part is only sewn around the edges, so it if mount it to the overhead molle rack it hangs down a ton. So I had her sew the Velcro part to the molle part, so it no longer sags.

I added a regulator to my OBA so I can be lazy, set my PSI to what I want, and drink beer (or water if I'm getting on the highway) without worrying about overfilling.

    Thanks @velillen for the idea

I didn’t realize how much a dog it was. I don’t feel the need for 4lo as much, and when I am in 4lo, 1st gear is amazing for descending steep grades with control :bananadance:

Mine is squeaking too. Happened after I installed my sliders. So I thought that was it. I’m at 7,900 right now. So far I’ve taken it into the dealer for 3 odd noises. 1) low speed metal grinding sound = rocks somehow stuck in skid plate. I should’ve looked harder on this one. :facepalm:2) Low speed metal “clink” = TPMS broken when tires installed. Sensor replaced but a piece was left in the wheel. 3) will be the squeaking coming from front end.

Dealer has been great so far, I just hate taking it for such small things. On the other hand, it’s under warranty and a brand new truck. :notsure:

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Today tried to get more scratches out of the paint from too many narrow trails. Cut polished the heck out of the front doors. 2016 TRD Off Road, closing in on 10,000 offroad miles in the last 2 years. Keep on truckin'....

Another question: Is there any type of wax or sealant that will help the vinyl wraps last longer?

Damn I should probably try removing the skid and putting it back on the thing is that the noise got worse after pushing down on the steps with my hands to try to find the source it sounds like an old truck when driving slow super squeaky another member did mention the radiator mounts I’m hoping that would fix it even though it’s a new truck I only have 14k on it

you're welcome! looks like black/black is the only color that went up in price. maybe due to low inventory? other color combos are still $25.99

I would stand on the sliders and rock truck and jump up and down and couldn’t get it to always repeat. Brother was under the truck to try to locate it while I did this. Still couldn’t figure out where it was coming from but it wasn’t the sliders. It was coming from the front. Then I Lifted the hood and I just leaned on the driver side fender/headlight area and the squeaking started. So I now can go to the dealer and show them exactly. The radiator mounts still look new and don’t seem like there is any wear to them. But we’ll see what dealer says.

On another note, I washed and waxed the truck with chemical guys butter wax. First time doing it and I’m really happy with the results. E8EA6230-EDFB-4B75-BD55-53510403C05E.jpg

Yeah it’s annoying if you do go to the dealer let me know what they say about it I have a feeling they’re gonna blame it on the after market suspension that I installed even though the noise was there with stock suspension ... nice truck! I just got wheels and tires installed on mine this weekend huge difference in looks .. where did you get your soft topper

    Will do!

I’m a cheap bastard and bargain hunter. Sourced both softopper and pro wheels locally. Feel like I got a good deal on both.
