    i remember my folks only listening to '70s AM talk radio, farm reports, live horse racing and the sorts
    so my first experience with 'popular' music as far as i recall were on the bus rides home from school in the 2nd grade (close to 40yrs ago already wow!)

    this was highly popular in 80/81 that i recall on that bus

    ill share more along the eclectic lines and less along the first things I remember hearing...

    the music, the towers, the kid dancing... it all has that NY feel if you ask me
