I have had a frustrating last few weeks with my Tacoma.. All started with having my Icon 2.5 coil overs sent in for a rebuild because the drivers side shock was leaking oil. The truck is relatively low mileage (sub 30K) and was purchased with the lift and Icon tubular UCAs (Non Delta Joint). I sent in the shocks and had both rebuilt and went to a 700# coil in order to compensate for the ARB Bumper, winch and spare battery i plan to add in the near future. Took the truck to Les Schwab for alignment and was told by the shop that the UCAs and ball joint were loose and that due to this they could not align the truck... not something i expected to hear especially after having the aligment done at the same les schwab about 2 months ago when i swapped in some rancho struts to serve as a stand in while my icons were rebuilt.

Took the truck down to another shop (won't drop names yet...) and they said your LCA and ball joints are loose... OK they are a 4wd shop so i went with there recommendation and replaced the LCAs on a sub 30,000 mile truck with Moog aftermarket loaded arms.

Take the truck back in for alignment after getting the arms in stalled and i get it back with these numbers and a shop manager telling me that the Camber can't be adjusted on my truck without an SPC upper control arm... From some preliminary google searching this appears to the the procedure to adjust Camber/Caster and Toe on a 2015 tacoma. SOOO before I really let them have it at the shop please take a look at my "aligned" numbers here and give me some feedback. These seem sloppy and poorly done... the good news is i have gotten a full refund for the work at this point due to some other additional issues that came up.... Sooo do i put this shop on my never again list? or is there some truth in what they are trying to tell me?
Link to what seems to be factory alignment instructions.....

Look at your right rear alignment cam. It should be 180 degrees rotated from the one in this pic. In other words, the rear of the right LCA should be all the way outward as far as they could make it go. If that's the case, then they made the best compromise they could with not enough caster and too much camber.

If it looks like this pic or is at the midpoint of the adjustment, then they're a bunch of dumb assed idiots.

Have it checked/adjusted at another shop. The didn't have the equipment on the wheel correctly or the equipment malfunctioned.

Ok took a peak under the car and lo and behold its wrong.. Called the shop back and provided them with the Factory Service Manual section detailing how to do the aligment on a Tacoma correctly.. Wow this is ridiculous that I am having to teach professionals how to work on my truck... So far I have gotten a refund for the alignment and the regional maintenance manager for the shop is going to be in town on the 3rd of February and i am going to go down and watch over his shoulder while he does the alignment AGAIN... Thanks alot for the assistance on this guys.

Will definitely be getting the gauges and learning to do this my self in the future. I could have learned all of this and spent the money on pretty high end tools with the money spent on lyft rides to the shop..

Soo I will say that these guys are trying to make it right and have refunded me for the crappy work but my truck will never see their garage again after this. If they can't do an alignment on a lifted truck i have zero confidence in them doing anything else correctly..

WOW! I am just shocked that they put that alignment cam in that position. That's HORRIBLE. Rotating that cam outward will give you more caster and less camber. Clearly the tech had absolutely no idea what he was doing.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I had an alignment done after getting SPC’s installed and these are the camber #’s. Should I have them try to get them closer to 0, or go to a new shop?
