I saw that headline but didn't read any further...o_O

Yeah, seems like people have been making up for all the years you couldn't get the good fireworks here.
I hear firecrackers and bottle rockets a lot lately.
Makes me think sometimes that I must be back in SC.

Pittsburgh actually assembled a special “task force” to crack down on all the fireworks. People have gone completely overboard with that stuff, making all kinds of noise late on weeknights.

I've taken my goals for these few free days and tossed them out the window. I hurt my shoulder and have slept like shit so I'm walking up too late to do certain projects. Last night we ran out for a quick errand that turned into a 2.5hr errand so I didn't get the paint stripper on the door (planned on leaving it overnight). I woke up last night around 1 and was awake till 4 (sorry @1buzzbait @Sammie for being too tired to say hi instead of lurking).

I could take a picture of my front room if that would help make you feel less stressed about the state of your reno? Our sound bar, clock and fire tv in the bedroom are also sitting on the floor currently. The tv is mounted so it gets a pass.

    I second your :frusty:and raise you :facepalm::goingcrazy::pccoffee:

Yeah, the psychiatric hospital I deliver to has seen a spike.
    They had already stopped admissions.
The quantities of meds I deliver there are way down.

I had to wait quite a while yesterday for the med carts to be brought out to the main desk.
I don't go into the "secured" areas with patients.
"Secured" is relative, as I need keys to even get in and security cameras are on me all the way.
At one place security has to remotely open a door for me.

There was a "restraint situation" ongoing...
Must have been a good one.

    Trying man! I'm really trying.

Sorry about your shoulder Tiff! Being in pain always sucks but especially when you've got shit to do! Hoping you feel better soon. The entire wall where our TV and sound bar usually live is open to studs as well as the entry to dining room and kitchen. Hoping drywall will be done today so we can start painting.

Nursing homes in the area aren't accepting any patients without a negative test which is slowing our discharges way down.

    Crazy times for sure!

    Good morning/afternoon/whatever!

    Lazy day today:
    Washed boat at carwash
    Mopped kitchen/bathrooms
    Going after soda #2
Followed closely by laying around on my fat (yet well lotioned) ass.
    Have a great day!
