I'm going to. It used to feed an outdoor water fountain. Cutting it off below ground and capping it.

BAMF sliders are so good, they are worth recycling.... Bought a used set of sliders that came off a Pathfinder and burned them in on a 3rd gen 4RNR. Lifted the runner from the sliders using the overhead crane....

How long did it take before they shipped out? I am going on to 12 weeks, hoping they come in soon.

Well I've definitely been dragging this out forever, but I finally got them painted. Going to give them a week to cure since this Rustoleum hammered paint takes FOREVER to harden.

Sliders are on! I found a pneumatic shop stool to be really helpful for raising and supporting the sliders while I installed them. No paint marring too! Holy crap driver's side is a pain in the ass with the hard lines.

A couple notes. For 2020 Toyota added some plugs and some sort of plastic shroud at the end of the boxed frame section up front. Looks like they blasted a bunch of fluid film type stuff up there. Had to toss the frame plugs.

One question for Jlee. I finished with four left over bolts. I see there are two holes in the sliders that don't match up with anything on my frame. I assume these are for 2nd Gen's? I still had 5 bolts in per side, which I figure is likely more than enough.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

The plates are for 05 to 20 sliders and Toyota has removed holes over the years. So you will have holes in the plates but no hole in the frame in some locations on the new 3rd gens. there is plenty holding them on.

I've bought sliders, lca skids, shackle hangers/shackles, and pelfrey overflow stuff, as well as cosmetic things like raptor letters from BAMF. I've had these sliders for 3.5 years and they are well worth it. I've dropped the full weight of my truck on them and they have stood up more than once. Also the powder coat that Jerry uses is great because it does not rust underneath and peel off like some other powder coat jobs I have experienced. They stand strong and have no signs of breaking down. Here are some pics of the most damaged rust/how it does not peel off the powdercoat. All of this damage was caused by me, sliders were expertly made.IMG_6326.jpg IMG_6327.jpg IMG_6329.jpg Very happy that these were the first things I got for my truck (after wheels/tires of course ;))

Is the 80 inch model from the BAMF web site for the DCSB then?

@bsp_taco Did your sliders rust along where the filler plate is supported by the outer tube? Mine have, and it happened within the sliders' first year. There are bubbles beneath the powdercoat, and some peeling on the top side. I paid @JLee to do the powdercoat too. This shouldn't happen, as I am pretty diligent about washing the salt off regularly through the winter.

Yes that is a location that will need to be touched up as the edge of your foot grabs that edge every time you step on them thinning it down. Paint, powder coating, it doesn't really matter when you are stepping on the parts, it will have have to be touched up annually or every other year if in a wet location like salt lake city. If you have our power you can easily touch it up with heat but you can't let it go too far or you will be sanding.
