Hi there, this is my first time posting. I found this community a few weeks ago when I first bought my Tacoma. I just needed some thoughts and advice.

So I just bought a 2015 TSS, SR5 double cab. It has the short 5 foot bed and I wanted to intall a tool box on the back. I found one that I really like that I know will fit, but the problem is that I don't seem to have any of mounting places described in any of the products I've been looking at. My bed doesn't seem to have a lip or anything to attach J-Hooks, or similar things. I just wanted to ask if there are any others on here that have the same truck and what you did to mount a box on. I don't even know if there is a place to drill...

I've included some pictures to show kinda what I'm looking at.

Go look at some Tacos in parking lots.....from your photos it appears that the rails?channels that the cleats fit in have been removed. With this channel rail for the cleats it by nature creates a flat bottom side that a J bolt will clamp too. Did you get cleats, without the rails you cannot use them either. Go back to the seller and tell him you want the rest of the parts or money needed to purchase them after you price them at a Toyota dealership. Good luck.......

agreed with the poster above, looks like someone removed all your bed rails before you got the truck. Should go back to wherever/whoever you got it and ask about it

I came up with this. Easy and no drilling and easy to remove.
