Tacoma BIG BRAKE KIT, brand new in the boxes. This is the popular 13WH upgrade using 4th Gen 4Runner/Lexus GX470 parts. This is the largest you can go before needing an upgraded master cylinder to avoid soft pedal. I did not mount these since I swapped over to a Tundra master, dual diaphragm tundra booster and 14WB calipers. I also have a rear disc conversion that I will post up shortly that would pair nicely.

EBC rotors & yellow stuff pads.
    Cardone Ultra calipers

Over $450 new....400 shipped CONUS OBO

looks like a great kit, so does that mean you went aftermarket on big brakes with adding the Tundra brake master cylinder?

I stripped a '19 wrecked Lexus GX 460 and modified all four corners for my truck but had to use a Tundra master and vacuum setup.

I also have an adapter for a Tacoma to mate up with a Tundra master I can throw in for the right price on the whole setup.

The rear disc does NOT have a parking brake option. I will post more details later, but it is used.

Might want to state that this requires 17” wheels. If that’s the case which I believe it is.

yes sorry. I put it in another section but not this one. It requires 17” rims only unless first gen then requires 17” aftermarket or OEM 17” plus 1” spacer.

Did you documented your front/back break conversion and took pics? You should start a new DIY thread with your upgrade!!

I know, I suck at this. I will get some pics and capture key points but there are quite a few that have done this and the info is already out there. I am helping with a demo axle for Tom at SOS Performance. I will take pics of this process for that part and I still have the booster and master to go.

This kit came on an axle
I bought. I bought the kit with parking brake option instead of keeping this one. The parking brake helps me set my trailer level.

What is Big about this brake kit? Each calipers still have only 2 pistons each similar to the stock Tacoma brake calipers. Asking because I don't understand what's different?
(On my last brake upgrade, I changed my pads to the TRD brake pads and replaced rotors to Stoptech slotted cryo rotors as my stock rotors had developed a lip and scratches. I put Bigger AM wheels, tires.)

05-present are 13WG 319mm rotors, same number of pistons and same size piston.

13WH are utilizing 338mm rotors for greater leverage and stopping power. This isn’t BIG in the grand scheme just the largest you can go on a stock Tacoma master and vacuum booster without getting a soft pedal. Hope that helps.

Isn't the larger brake pad that improves stopping? I get that the 13WH has a few mm's more of rotor surface area, but if the brake pad surface area is the same, and amount of hydraulic pressure, number of calipers all the same, there isn't any stopping improvement. Is that correct understanding?
