    Finally made my first car purchase yesterday, and got a used 2017 Tacoma SR5. After driving a beat down corolla with nearly 200K miles throughout high school and college, it feels amazing driving something that doesn't look like a piece of junk.     Congrats on the new truck! here are a few ideas for your first mod:

    Mod ideas:
    1. truck detail + paint protection film to protect against rock chips and scratches on the paint (at least on the doors and the hood)
    2. weathertech or husky floor liners
    3. camper top or tonneau cover
    4. mud flaps to prevent rocks chips and prevent rocks from flying towards the sides of the truck or flying up at the tailgate.
    5. Rock Sliders or Metal Side Steps to protect against people who open their doors too wide in the parking lot
