    I picked up my 2017 SR5 DCLB 4X4 back in the beginning of May with just shy of 40k miles and I have have had a blast over the last two months and 4k miles. Im glad I made the switch from my Subaru Forester to the Tacoma as I outgrew it quickly hauling around all my hunting, fishing and camping gear.

    Some of the the mods I have tackled so far include: TRD PRO grill swap with raptor lights from Taco Garage, black TACOMA tailgate letters, complete debadging, removed the front air dam and license plate bracket and scored this sweet used Leer campers shell, which was totally worth the over 6 hour round trip for $500.

    Future plans include upgraded rims and tires, going to try my hand at vinyl wrapping the shell to color match, plastidiping the fender flares black and roof racks for the cab and shell. I'm back and forth on if I want to lift it or not, as I don't plan any extreme offroading other than moderate trails for hunting and fishing access and I'm enjoying the surprising 22 mpg.
