    Agreed. It lowers the diff taking away safety space between the skid. I have POUNDED that skid a few times. My angles at my CVs look completely fine and I have no concerns there. Bushing installed when I did my lift. I would replace a LOT of CVs before I'd risk the diff damage that was shown in that thread where he had a drop and a hard hit caused the contact with the diff and it was in pieces.

    Add me to this group, needle bearing has never been a worry because it's been replaced with a better part.

    OP should include the choice, lifted with ECGS bushing, no failure.

    My 2G needed the ECGS bushing when I lifted. It hurt the pride to rip it back apart and have another TW member help me install it. This time when I lifted my 3G I preemptively did it. Now that I understand how to do it and the tricks (waded up plastic wrap to keep the bushing puller end from falling into the front diff), it's a no brainer.

    It's not an expensive part, and not an overly difficult job to do. Why take the risk you'll have to rip everything back apart?
