Hi Maner and fam! Hope you all had a good day!!

I went and met Lucy this morning, she's so stinking sweet and so beautiful! She's huge though lol. We hung out about 3 minutes and she already won me over...so we had an adventurous ride home while she ran around inside the truck for a half hour because she seemed too big for my pet carrier I brought and they were out of the cardboard ones... but luckily we made it home safely. I haven't let her and Negan formally meet yet, trying to let her settle in still. She saw him out back and went under the futon in the spare room. She's pretty much been there the whole time since that happened but she wandered and snooped around the house quite a bit before that...
She has a upper respiratory infection so I have to give her medicine for the next three days which I'm dreading cause I can't imagine it's going to be easy but other than that she's supposed to be healthy. Her breathing is horrible sounding though... so of course I'm probably stupid for taking her but I just fell in love with her...

So glad you got Lucy. She is a big ole cat. Very glad you are happy.

 

Is it liquid or powder? Might be able to mix it in food.

 

Thanks, I just hope she's not destructive. She's got some mean old strong claws..

Liquid,I said that and she said it tastes horrible is why it usually won't work. I wonder if I add it to wet food if it would work...

 

Eye dropper and squirt it down her throat.

 

Serious, my bf Daniel said it's more like a raccoon or small dog. She's 15 pounds they said...

It’s worth a try at least. We hide pills for our dog in cheese.

I would t want to try and hold that thing still while trying to give it meds from an eye dropper. Not with out one of those attack dog training suits on.

 

Negans easy to give medicine to cause I can just grab his mouth and throw anything in there but she's not gonna be that easy I don't think.

 

Nice cat. Now.... notice the eyes in the pics? She doesn't know you and taking pics isn't helping. Let her settle in and keep the doggo away for now. Again, look at the eyes. Windows to the soul and all that.
