not really. I think if you press your finger lightly you can get them to puff up.

Oh I don't want them to puff up but since this the first time I've ever made any of them... I wasn't sure

I’ve seen it go both ways when watching them being made.

There is a place we used to go they had a machine that would ball them roll them flatten them and then cook them all in one spiral machine. Was really cool. The lady would just feed the masa dough she made into the hopper at the top and out would come awesome fresh tortillas.

Needs to be hotter. If making street tacos use a little oil on griddle.

We have a chain that does that here. I don't recall seeing them do corn tortillas though. I see them do flour all of the time.

We have a lot of places that specialize in tortilla making as well. The fresh out of the oven ones are always better

Ya nothing quite like that. The places usually smell freaking awesome.

We also have a middle eastern restaurant near us that does little pita breads in a wood fired dome oven. Oh man I could eat 10 baskets of them with their garlic spread.

Sake Wings cooked in the air fryer!

    IMG_20200702_171649_689.jpg

Soaked in Sake overnight, patted dry with paper towels and seasoned only with salt and white pepper. Started skin side down for 10 minutes at 400F, then flipped to skin side up for another 10 min at 400F.

Super crispy outside, juicy AF on the inside!!

    You thinking 350/400F?

Corn tortillas are gluten free... Flour ones are not.

Plus with white, yellow and blue corn chips made in the air fryer... I'd say success!! Haha

I'd say I didn't fail for my very first time... But I'll make some improvements for the next time!!

Thank you all for your advice!

How'd the blue corn chips go against the others?

I'm my opinion, the blue ones are the best because I made them! Haha

Obviously I am going to have to do a new test with home made yellow and homemade blue and see how it works. I haven't seen white corn masa yet. Haven't bothered to Google it either yet.. probably do that after I post this and hopefully get back to a new experiment soon!

It was the only one in the store that wasn't raw aluminum...
