Started this one a few weeks ago and have been spending a few hours a week working on it. It's mostly done but I'm at the point now where the axles I ordered are backordered so I'm waiting for them to arrive.

Goal: ~1,500lbs dry weight w/ 5,500lbs load capacity
Purpose: Work-duty trailer but with some light-duty camping use
    Frame:
    • 3"x3" 3/16" thick square tube for spine
    • 2"x3" 1/8" thick rectangular tube for main frame areas, subframe, and tongue
    • 1"x3" 1/8" thick rectangular tube for crossmembers
    • 1/8" angle iron for supports
Floor: 1/8" thick aluminum diamond plate
Axles: Two sets of Timbren Industries Axle-Less axles (3500HD) for a combined weight rating of 7,000lbs.
Coupler: Lock N Roll articulating hitch
Tires: 35" Toyo RTs (got them used for super cheap)
Wheels: 17" of whatever I can find on the 6x5.5 pattern
Brakes: Electric on all 4 hubs
    Other features:
    • Stake pockets
    • Underfloor storage (6" deep)
    • Rack mounts
    • Tongue box
