Not worried about blocking access to the latches with the awning?

I should still have access to spin the latch and slide. The latches are pretty easy to operate.

CVT 55 hybrid awning mounted. Tested the walls. Wind picked up so we buttoned it back up before getting pictures with the floor on..

This will give us another room option in bad weather as well as a dog room.
    20200410_133344.jpg

I used the lower track which I thought I might which is why I trimmed material of the awning mounts originally...

Pins slide just fine and will have access behind to allow open and close without issue...

got out testing the GFC this weekend...

keeping it simple inside worked pretty good.. fine tuning the setup will take a bit to see what works and doesn't.

did some more testing... found out i have a charging problem.. swapping back in my OEM alternator this weekend to see if that was the issue. looking into a redarc bcdc1225d setup paired with solar mounted on the GFC to help share the charging load of the alternator. should be a fun project...

swapped back the oem alternator... the 250A alternator from bamatoy (back when he sold the big 3 upgrades) didn't even make it 4 years...

solar and redarc is planned to go in this weekend if all parts show up for the install...

Battled high fuel trims this trip. LT trims topped out at 39... not good. Checked vacuum lines, cleaned the maf sensor, had to constantly monitor the levels for most the trip....

Got back in town and got to work. New MAF sensor in... helped slightly.

Then finally battled the spark plug replacement.. what a pain in the dick with the supercharger. Managed to swap the driver side without removing the supercharger...lots of extensions and joints. And I think i found the problem....

    Passenger side..

    Old vs new
    20200621_125906.jpg

LT trims have dropped back down to 11-12.5 at idle. Before the plugs it was around 21 at idle. Before the MAF sensor replacement closer to 25.

Got sick of sitting on my bumps. Finally did something about it....

Swapped the deaver u402 stage 2 for the u402 stage 3... also had @TMFF (303 shocks) rebuild front and rear suspension. Truck should be real happy now!

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
Put it next to a 3.slow Toyota pickup and yours is lightning fast!

I've read about some people using modified Porsches as overland vehicles lately... One even crossed Africa. They may be a little quicker across the flats, but the common theme was that they're always broken
