    Wondering about these statements on the manufacturer website for the guard I'm thinking about. From your installation experience, did it interact with or prevent usage of the factory tow hook?

    Fitment: 2016-2020 Tacoma
    Note: May require trimming of lower bumper valance for installation.Note: Aluminum A/C line will need to be slightly bent to clear upper bracket.Note: Special TRD tow hook and skid plate cannot be reused.


    Note: I'm just looking for info on this specific question and not trying to open a drama queen debate about how bad grill guards are, etc. :)

    i installed the tiger bull bar and it also said that, i did not have to remove the skid plate trim the bumper or bend the ac line, if you have the chin spoiler that will have to be removed and or trimmed.

    And you didn't have to remove the tow hook either? Or did that need to get moved?

    i think i had to remove for room to get the bull bar mounted but was able to put it back on after.
