I understand that. Just was curious if these trucks were prone to parts wearing earlier than I've been use to

I've used them before. Good price just don't like the shipping have to pay additional if it comes from 2 separate wearhouses paying double shipping might as well just go to the parts store

No more than any other properly maintained vehicle, better than most in fact. The only obvious thing (& it's a biggie) is the frame concerns for trucks in corrosion prone areas of the country (aka rust belt/salt states). Toyota has handled that as best can be expected. They've replaced hundreds of frames, no charge. Search this board, many threads on it here.

My truck's an '08, had 160k when I bought it in 2/19, pushing 170k at present. I'm retired and a part time-parts runner for Napa (their vehicles). It's had the following done. Clock spring, A/C compressor, shocks/struts frt & rr, and R&P assembly, all on my dime. Toyota added a new frame, LCA's, (I added UCA's & frt struts, no labor) hard fuel & brake lines, spare tire carrier, associated small parts & fasteners. Some would say 'Holy shit', that's a lot of repairs! I look at it as wear & maintenance on a 12yr old, but clean, truck. Toyota threw in a new frame as a bonus, on a drive train that's easily capable of 200k and well beyond, many documented. I figure I'm set for a while...

    I change plugs every 30-40k

But trucks on original brake pads front and rear, just hit 201k.

Owned for 10 years, bought at 65k
