Sorry that sucks. I hate when you fall victim to theft. So frustrating.

Didn't realize I was responding to a quote with someone talking about locking his doors for the bumpers.

    Ohwait.

There's nothing funny about it and your opinion is yours. Be safe out there. Hope it works out for the best for the OP.

Ok, sounds good, but I never said I live in a better place, and wasn't judging where anyone else lives.

Just was saying what worked for me. My city is a crime infested hole. I truly hope where you live isn't. I still hope it all works out for the OP also.

Hell, if I was closer, I'd give him my rear bumper, it's still sitting next to the house.

I apologize to you and anyone else that I may have offended. Be safe and stay healthy.

The crime rate for violent and property crimes has gone down in most cities across the country for like over 20 years. The public perception over that same time of crime rates has gone up, for some reason. This conversation is telling.

On my property in Nova Scotia which is over 80 acres and the house is far from the road, I still lock my truck and have a ring camera on it. I just don’t trust anyone or anywhere.

I guess that makes sense depending on your outlook.

I don’t have anything showing in my truck besides my phone charger. Leaving my doors unlocked I feel is inviting someone to just go thru my shit for something they may need.. tools or knives I keep in the truck.

Locking the door, I’d hope the alarm and the idea of breaking a window in an apartment complex or neighborhood would deter them.. $100 deductible for glass on my policy.

I just literally have 0 trust in the degens of the world. Someone could walk by and see the doors unlocked and go “eh I got a spare minute let’s see what I can find”

“well fuck bubbles I don’t trust nobody in Noda Scovia as far as I can fuckin toss em.. let alone with my truck. You never know. I might have to live in that one day.” - Ricky, somewhere, probably just like in your profile pic.

Actually, that is some strong stuff. Loctite makes a stronger stuff than their green though. The green is used on the driveshaft flange bolts. Not too hard to remove.

The loctite red paste, which comes in an oversized syringe, now that stuff holds on tite! As far as thread lockers go.

I have some green stuff.. not from picture... forget the brand. But put it on threads and an impact won’t budge it
