My very own fab of a floor-hinged go pedal. Un-affected by those nasty floormats and better heel-toe action for bigger feet:)

And my one-of-a-kind one-side-dual-sweptside exhaust done custom by my exhaust guy. I had them tucked up close to the body and that can be a must-have for you off-road guys. Had 'em done in '09, still like brand-new. No others like this.

I am working on a fully electronic E-Brake kit. My only concern is the REAR brakes, I am getting rid of the drums all together, need a set of calipers that have the ebrake slots. Any ideas anyone?

Did you just use the adhesive strip to attach the holder to the dash?

Nope. I modified the air vent phone mount by cutting off the clips that would normally mount to the air vent fins. I removed the blank switch plate on the dash (where the airbag keyed switch normally is). Notched out the blank plate for the charging cable. Then I screwed the phone mount to the blank switch plate and inserted it back into the dash.

Double din stereo w/ apple/android car play. Was about $500 so not cheap at all but I absolutely love it and couldnt do w/o it now that I have it. Navigation,
w/ waze, touchscreen. Its a great stereo and also modernizes the interior. Also Husky floor mats.image.jpg

Its a SONY XAV-AH1000. I guess there is a newer version since mine came out and its a lot cheaper i just saw it on crutchfield for $300. Not sure about steering wheel controls because i have the stock steering wheel w/ no controls but i just use the bluetooth feature for calls and it works perfectly. Comes w/ a nice microphone that people can hear me clearly even when the windows are down.

Having an overhead console is fantastic for housing ham radio. The lights in it are fantastic and the storage is super useful. I also put in some usb ports up there for charging things.

Ya man my main thing was I really wanted apple car play and I bought it when car play was relatively new so all the stereos with car play were all $400 plus, now they’re alot cheaper.

That makes sense, I got mine for quality and did not want a touch screen as thats a way to get broken into.

    Just go drive it.

There's lots of cool mods out there, but it's probably best for you to go out and figure out which ones are best suited to your style, your budget, and your fabrication/DIY abilities.

Best to focus on maintenance and reliability first, before going hog wild on cool mods.

Since it's a new to you truck, unless the previous owner gave you receipts, assume the regular maintenance wasn't done. Fluids, filters, plugs/wires, all that normal stuff.

Once that stuff is up to date, THEN you can go thinking about how to bro out your rig.

Cool bumpers and custom steering wheels do exactly jack squat if you're broken down on the side of the road...
