So in proper TW tradition im going to dig up an old dead 3 y/o thread....

Both my driver and passenger side mounts and bolts need to be replaced. In no way am I bashing or blaming icon, I run them on all 4 corners of my 4runner and plan on keeping it that way.

Anyway, first thing I noticed is that the bolts arent properly shanked. The new parts sent from Icon are the same mount design but they now include a properly shanked bolt
, just something to think about.

Also anyone wondering about part numbers or maybe thinking of keeping a spare around 157011 is the mount and 605335 is the bolt

No pics of the new bolt but the shank is now the correct length

I'm still using a 1/2" thick steel donut (I waterjetted when I owned a mfg company). Still no cracks and I certainly use my truck. :) I just removed the coilovers to rebuild and to replace the spherical bearings and the misalignment spacers. I am certainly glad I use the extra steel donut to keep me from breaking the top hat. :)

And know that I did had two top hats crack before I chose to make and install these donuts on top of the coil buckets.

How about that spacer in the back? DIY or does Icon send those out now to keep the buckets from deflecting and breaking their top hats?

No, they're the spacers from headstrong offroad. The same ones that someone else here used. Highly recommend them
