I was a suby driver tired of blown head gaskets and transmission issues. I spend a lot of time in the mountains collecting trees in the cascades and the blues and i love exploring off road. I bought a 2020 trdor (access cab/6' bed) recently, and i am in love with this truck.
Yesterday wife was feeling the cabin fever so we went to check out a road that led from walla walla to bluewood (wa/or). I didn't expect it to be a narrow dirt road hugging cliffs with few turn-outs in some areas. Made it to a mile high elevation before i came across an impassable mound of ice. We had a great time getting out, and this truck drives like a dream. I felt a little unprepared considering all I had was a military shovel for recovery gear.
I don't want to be "that" guy. So i am definitely ordering some max tracks and i am open to suggestions for tow-lines and other recovery gear. I am also interested in upgrades over time, but i'm going back to school at 41yr so progress will be slow until i am in a position making them real moneys.

Beautiful picture and congrats on your new ride. Don't get sucked into the black hole of mods- make sure you have the gear to get home and let her eat. Max Trax are fantastic. A winch would be next on my list, but they can be pricey. If you own any kind of property you will find other uses for it, though. Don't forget a first aid kit, flashlight and hand tools. You will get through to a lot of places, and back, with just those things.

Wonderful to see a first post with a bit of adventure, no complaints and no requests for info on big tires, black wheels or a leveling kit!
