Rear axle bearing SST

    I brought a junk yard axle for the axles themselves as it was cheaper than having the dealer replace the bearing. And there was no downtime other than doing the swap.

    Now, I'd like to cut the tubes off and have a 1/2" plate welded on. I'm thinking the hole in the plate should be clearance for the axle yet hold the last spacer before the clip to press against.

    Are there any dimensioned drawings for the SST? I haven't cut the housing yet.
    Thoughts/opinions....?


    Now for the $64 question:
    Anyone with a press interested in a free home made rear wheel bearing SST in exchange for replacing the ones on my original axles?

    I'm a little north of Boston, MA and willing to drive... The press itself isn't moving easily. Lol
