The truck is back together and driving, babying it currently while waiting for the brakes to bed in more and checking for weird noises and such, will be checking the torque on everything tomorrow night again. I still have a few smaller projects to knock out, but nothing that should require jack stands or taking a lot of things apart. Everything now is smaller jobs to do simple maintenance, couple upgrades, and swap out some things.

    However...
When in doubt... a big hammer and a good since punch will help to clearance almost anything.

Is the BROG Tool Bag convenient to work out of or would the tool roll be better. For truck trips only, normally the tools will live in a chest in the garage.

I like the tool bag, I keep it behind the passenger side rear seat and it is stuffed with pretty much every small handtool I would need.

I feel like it keeps everything secure and easy to get too and it is easy to open up and get what you need out of without having to completely open it. I usually keep screwdrivers and more used tools in the two bags closet to the handles, so I can just open the top of the bag, get what I need and don't even need to remove it from the cubby behind the seat.

    Truck update...

Finally picked up a DECKED System for the truck... took it home on Sunday, uninstalled it that night, then started to get the outlets and so forth ready for the system to go back into the truck.

    IMG_20200613_093005.jpg

One of the previous owners of the system had gone a little crazy with the Dremel I guess.

I had to do better and make some covers for the giant holes they had put in the passenger side ammo can (forgot to take some before pictures of the butchering of it). One cheap IKEA cutting board later and a 2 gang waterproof electrical cover... way better and looks a lot cleaner.

Took me about a minute to take apart the wiring connector to be able to just run it through a 1/2" hole instead of what they had done...

    IMG_20200617_203334.jpg
    IMG_20200617_203343.jpg

Also made a cover for the hole where the electrical outlet was.
    IMG_20200617_203320.jpg

Now I just need to relocate the drivers' side USB outlet I had installed in the drivers side cubby and figure out a way to use the J hooks as I did not get the hooks from the used sale, but I have an idea on that.

I also have no idea what is happening...

Truck is at the house, no more RTT, no more bed bars... prob going to find a softtopper for it down the road.

Have a Subaru Outback with a 2.0 Turbo Swap in it that I plan to lower using Legacy GT parts... best of both worlds.

    Lol.

At least I am keeping the truck...

But I wanted back in the turbo, manual transmission game, so this gets me there with a pretty fun little car that I can throw parts at for pretty cheap as compared to Tacoma parts and have a fun daily driver.

    Still alive...

Just have done nothing to the Tacoma as the new job doesn't pay what the IT sector does... and a lot of my extra money kinda goes to the new project that I am working on getting in better shape with the help of some good friends.

1965-66 Mustang Fastback that I was given by my grandmother that had been sitting in her garage for 15 years without running. We went and got it back in November or so and got it running in 4ish hours and I went and did some burnouts in front of her house...

Brought it closer to Tyler to a friend's shop where we work on cars every weekend and I am slowly putting money into it to make it a Sunday cruiser/Cars & Coffee/Car Show car...

I plan to do nothing to the paint, just engine and drivetrain work that is it.

That's really cool man, love the plan. I can appreciate a restored body but there's something about seeing the time roll up. So neat
