Weston is easy except in Winter when it is not maintained. If you are Fly Fishing the Taylor Outlet you need to get there real early, I prefer the bend after bridge over the Straight section but to each there own.

For trails I will just say check out the areas around Taylor Reservior, although Tin Cup Pass would NOT be something to try. You can take CO472 all the way to end which has some Beaver ponds (smaller trout) and Great Scenery. There is some old Mining sites you can get to as well but I can't think of names off top of my head but some have signs. Try American Flag Mtn/ Italian Creek/Pass Rd I think you can do those.

Also, Cottonwood Pass is completely paved now so you can get down to Buena Vista in under an hour from Taylor Resi.

Anyone in the IT field looking for a new place to work? I'm hiring 4 sys admins for CACI, Inc, 2 out of Westminster to either work out of Fort Collins or Westminster while at times needing to physically visit the site you aren't mainly at. I will also have 2 at the Denver Tech Center. FoCo and Westminster are not cleared positions, DTC requires TS/SCI clearance along with poly and Security + Cert. If you would like more info shoot me a message. The job reqs were frozen but have since been lifted.

Are there any GOOD mechanics in the Buena Vista area that could do a pre-purchase inspection? Mainly I want a compression test and a check on the auto trans fluid color/level on a 2011 DCSB.

I could do this stuff myself (and will do my own check on things visually), but sometimes convincing a seller to let you remove spark plugs and transmission fill plugs isn't well received.

It's come to casting nets on TW to fill IT reqs. The IT industry, especially Colorado, is hurting for talent without question. The amount of open reqs my company has is insane.

Define "IT". I don't really want to spend my life on the phone telling people yet again how to turn their printer on before it will print...
I also don't want to be crawling around under raised floors running and terminating CAT5...

Looking for a drywall guy to do a patch, actually two, and texture where I rode the ladder down the wall earlier this month. :anonymous:

About a 6" - 8" hole(s) where the ladder ends(?) went through the drywall when I landed and the other end lodged agains the opposite wall.

I will take his info for the future. Been patching drywall for the past few days and will probably just hire it out for the next project.

Wasn't implying system admin work is pulling cable or working with printers, however I can understand that could be difficult to fill with the security level aspect. Just agreeing with you that system admin work like MS Server admin, Linux/Unix admin, Cloud admin, VMware admin and the list goes on that those are in high demand and difficult to fill with the lack of talent pool in the state.
