Virginia Beach is Quiet and needs a bit of Music.

This thread was originally titled "Brooklyn Music" as I have a friend living there. He recently moved to Virginia Beach, so I changed up the thread title.
I live in California, but was accused several times of living in Brooklyn. I suspect I haven't heard the last of it...

 

Oh I was aware you are in Ca. I was actually born there. I just thought perhaps you were traveling and changed the thread title while you were there.Don't hold me being born in Ca against me it wasn't my choice

 

I love California! But it sucks dick. Too many people and politicians. It is home, though.

 

Yep ya deal with what you've got. I have considered moving back to NC where all my family is from but VA has beenhome since 1974 so there is that

I haven't found that yet. Getting a little late for that so settling for where I am most relaxed I guess. We thought about moving to the beach but i think i'd get tired of that. Here I am minutes from the mountains and a few hours from the beach. I'd love to be on about 50 acres in the mountains and could hunt on my own property but then reality sets in

I grew up near the beach and thought life would always be that way. Then I fell in love with the desert and the mountains! I live in the desert at the base of the mountains! Perfect for me!

 

I have spent quite a bit of time in the Mojave. I found it pretty in it's own way and very intersting especially when so different than where i am from

 

I LOVE the desert! It's very green and lush back east! You can't go wrong either way.

 

I spent all my time around Ft Irwin. Barstow/ Dagget area I guess. It was pretty neat. HOT AF but still pretty neat

 

Many people drive through the desert and hurry on to the next city, anxious to be out of the desert. And for that I give thanks!

 

LOL yeah I was there for like 3 weeks at a time. These guys here talk about going to drive in the dessert been there done that.

i am 500 miles from the mountains in Colorado
also 500 or so miles from the great lakes
lots of scenic rolling valleys, cornfields and prairies full of nothing but cows and little towns of 1000 or less around here once you get off the stupid interstate highway and big city
hot and humid out today here, in six months it could be below freezing with blizzard winds and blowing snow
you feel that cold in your bones real quick its refreshing

Yep, about 100 here today and dry as a bone. It will be closer to 20 six months from now.
