6” BDS lift w/ Fox Shocks 305/55R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler Lights to land an airplane
    Hello all,

Been snooping the forums for a while and finally making the jump. Coming from Southern New Jersey.

Was blessed to be spoiled by my wife and her late grandfather Charlie, who helped with affording my new ride after being in a beater for a couple years. Charlie was a car guy through and through, so this very much seems fitting as what he would have done. Having owned a Model A and being a founding member of the Local Jaguar club, heard countless stories of him randomly bringing new cars home to fix and restore without telling his wife anything.

Truck is a 2014, wanted that or a 2015, DCLB in super white with 60k on it. Previous owner installed a 6” BDS lift with Fox Shocks, 305/55R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Fuel wheels and enough lights to land an airplane.

As far as maintenance and everything else, trying to get into doing some wrenching on it; however, fairly novice when it comes to doing the work. So help is appreciated. Biggest challenge first is sorting out what the last owner did/didn’t do. Intend to have this 10+ years.

Know about the rust issues and the super white paint issues, but not sure how to address them yet. Both seem ok at the moment.

Looking forward to learning and stealing from everyone’s experience.

    Thanks for the warm welcome.
