It will not affect longevity. Any leaf spring exposed to enough grit and dirt will squeak. Clean the leafs, contact points, and bushings THOROUGHLY. Follow it up with fluid film and should be ok. The film will create a barrier against rust, and allow debris to easily rinse off the leafs if they do get dirty again.

I'm having the same issue on my '19, I checked the clips/clamps and the ones on the passenger side have no gap/clearance at all on one of the sides and rub the leaf. Tested out by bouncing while squeaking and then sprayed some water on that spot and squeak stopped. Strange thing is that the drivers side clamps all have clearance on both sides of the clamps so don't rub on the leaf. I'm trying to see if this lack of clearance between the clamp and leaf on the passenger side is normal, or if I got a defective pack.

Is your squeakings just from normal driving or when coming to a stop? I only hear mine squeaking when im coming to a stop. The last 8 mph and below is when i hear it. Do you guys think its the drum brakes that needs to be replaced or its just the springs squeaking. I never had this issue until i got the camper shell installed.
