After some re-arranging of a few things in my basement, found a good spot for my new gun cleaning/work stand. Found a nice tall shop stool that's the perfect height. I have another LED Shop Light on order (same as above the other work bench), which I'll hang above.

Does the other work bench have a stainless top?

Rookie work, I got this holster prior to getting the Leupold Deltapoint Pro. Optioned out for the Sig P320, but made it work for my M-18. Thankfully there was enough clearance for the trijicon suppressor height front iron sight. Some slight some trimming, of the kydex which was pretty forgiving, I managed to make it work. Once I find my dremel, I’ll clean up the rough edges, for a cleaner look. Not the best, but will have to do for now till I can get a M18 w/manual safety specific holster ordered up.

Seeing as how the drawer slides into a thick housing, I am thinking it is an air vent to reduce a vacuum effect similar to when an ice chest with an air seal is slammed shut and sticks?

Makes sense to me I suppose. It definitely intrigues me to consider a biometric pistol safe mounted under the bed.

Finally got my Olight Odin I ordered on Launch. Took a couple weeks but was worth it.

Spent some time this morning removing the trigger (noted above) and re-installed the factory Dan Wesson trigger. First time tackling something like this, but just took my time and was careful....not too bad at all looking back. Original trigger is 1000% better....never should have messed with it. Minimal take up (1/8") and zero trigger movement. I'm guessing 4ish lb trigger with the cleanest of breaks. I'm not even considering a replacement again unless I send it back to DW for a trigger job, but for now, I'm sticking with what I have.

Glad you got her back to stock. Sounds like you're perfectly happy with it, but I would think the experience should have given you the confidence to do your own trigger job in the future if you still want a bright finish trigger or to eliminate the rest of the creep.

$20 and a little patience gets you full adjustability to set the trigger up however you like it. Changing out the mainspring is necessary to adjust the weight of the pull.

Thanks, but I'm not sure I have the skills to install and then adjust a new trigger.

Is that just as easy with a P80 G17?

    [COUGH] BULLSHIT [COUGH]

Seriously Mark, after the stuff I've seen you do recently? I think if I can build a P80 G17, then install and adjust a light, and then remove and install sights, then even I could would attempt to replace the trigger. I know you can do it. That is unless we are talking about two completely different trigger assemblies and yours is a 10 and mine is a 1 on a difficulty scale.

Entirely different trigger. I have no idea how to adjust a Glock trigger but I do know that polishing any contact surfaces makes a huge improvement over stock:thumbsup:

I could do a simple replacement as that's what I just did. I just simply reinstalled a trigger that had originally been tuned for that firearm. But 1911's generally require fine tuning of multiple components when replacing a trigger. Zero experience in that field.
