Hey guys, this might be a dumb question.
After adding armor and an ARE shell my truck’s stock suspension has sagged about an inch front and back.

If i get a 2 inch lift would i be riding 1 inch above stock height?

So if i want to be 2 inches above stock height should i buy a 3 inch lift?

Thanks for the clarification. Just a little confused if the lift would bring me to 2 inches above stock height or above current height.

That's not really how it works. You should consult with a manufacturer or resaler that can give you a balanced suspension lift. Adding a bunch of weight means that you need to consult on spring rates and geometry in addition to the advertised lift. Two inches of lift on a heavy truck does not translate linearly to an inch over stock ride height.

    ...stuff
A 2” suspension lift would lift the truck 2” over the stock set up, not where you currently sit. In order to see those results, you may need to install heavier coils and leafs to accommodate the extra weight, or it may sag. It wouldn’t be an addition to your 1” of sag because it is a different set up.
