    I appear to have 'Type B' which does not have an 'auto' switch setting.

    Does this mean I have to manually turn the lights on and off each time (there is no auto setting)?

    I had a 2004 F-150 that had an auto setting, and that was standard. Hard to believe an automobile in 2020 would not just have a setting for it without paying extra. Strange.
