I miss paper and pens. Everything at my work is digital and it's just not the same.

Almost. She is a bit long in the tooth and has seen better decades, so the efficiency isn't what it used to be.

Paper, pens, and pencils, rulers... They're staples here (no pun intended). My little blue Pentel mechanical pencil is going on ten years old and the other one that came in the pack is sitting at home in my desk drawer. I tend not to change much when it comes to the basics.

Speaking of desk drawers, when I took over my cube I found little things in my desk drawer from the early to mid 90s, and in a banker box underneath my cube, a 1951 operating manual for a unit that has long since disappeared.

Our agent was both shocked and impressed when we showed up to our house viewing and I had all the paperwork on the house sorted, tabbed and highlighted. I just can't look at a mess of paperwork that isn't in order digitally so I printed it all and resorted it :notsure:

I had all of my printouts as well as a main summary page with all of the important info in three together on excel[price, sqft, room measurements, etc.]

My wife gets annoyed with my over usage of excel.

Well that makes my ramen noodles look like crap.

Same here. From presentations to my own personal notes at home, everything is organized, neat, and clean. My cube is the same way. Even the things that are tacked to the cube walls are organized and arranged in a grid system. I'll freely admit, it is absurd much like me, but my personal work space cannot and will not be a mess.

    No kidding.

We used excel for our house searches. Set all the color parameters, ranking, etc... I do love excel.

The downfall for me is that I usually have to do everything personal on my phone (currently). My work laptop is locked down like fort knox and I can't access gmail on it so I typically start the excel at work, email it to @Twizted because we have a tls connection with his company and then he puts it into Google sheets for him and I :anonymous:

    Tell me about it.

Here below I have a freshly prepared hand made Ravioli with the finest cuts of beef. Topped with a zingy tomato sauce that will bring feelings of enchantment to your life.

This is what I tell myself so I can eat it.
