The plys are Kevlar, and the first couple make up the sidewall. They aren’t woven but get cross hatched when you apply the ply’s. Kevlar is just more cut resistant. It may offer some added puncture resistance, but that would be for larger things that aren’t real sharpe. Anything sharpe and narrow will usually puncture a sidewall. Especially only have a couple ply sidewall. I’ll show an example when I go into work. We use kevlar on some of our moto tires. I’m I’m not on a machine that runs Kevlar cord I’ll just show an example with regular cord so everyone gets the idea

I laugh when peeps, esp 4x4s, swerve around every manhole cover and similar like they're driving a Donk. But damn, if I see something on the road that shouldn't be there, I ain't risking it unless swerving would be more dangerous to others on the road.

Yeah for sure, quickly debated it but going 55mph decided it wasn't worth it to quickly brake and swerve, not for something that looked seemingly flat from what i could see

If i see a piece of metal in the road and have the time to think about whether I’m going to hit it or not, why would I purposely hit it? that’s just dumb

Sure, easier said than done IMO, there was a car behind me, had i slammed on my brakes who's to say he wouldn't have slammed into me? Even the cost of a complete blowout and new tire outweights getting rear ended and damage to frame body etc.

Edit: only a 'true' redneck would intentionally run shit over for shits n giggles...

I would call ToyotaCare and then head inside for coffee, eggs, and a stack of hotcakes.

F that, they'd tell me its normal and clear my maintenance light and move on...

Wait, you have hotcakes at yours??? We're lucky if we have stale cookies and watered down coffee...

Gotta keep things fresh. Not like those stale cookies and coffee at the dealership, haha.
