Just put a whole one on the cooker this weekend.offset 225* till 135 in middle. damn good. had a bowl of bacon grease. melted in the micowave and injected it into the loin. flavored it up pretty good

I have all of my alert preferences checked and never have any problems. It should look like this.

My wife gave me a 6 deer head limit. Now I have to cull and put the smaller ones in the shop:anonymous:

I have 2 mounted in our house, I have one mounted in our store, she has 2 mounted in our store, I have 2 mounted that are in the building, and several skull mounts in the building. I think I'm done with mounts and will skull mount big ones and maybe have one of those laser engravings done if it's big enough. Not to mention all the horns screwed to the wall in the building.

I like the skull mounts. I mounted the one from last year cause I haven't done one in awhile. I think I may do a 150" limit from now on. (Which probably means I'm done)

That's a good limit. I have one bow kill that's 165 1/8" mounted and the last one I mounted was a rifle kill that's close to 150" I've never scored him. We have no room for more mounts at our small ponderosa.

way out of my league with bucks that size.talk about sick to my stomach, hunted a good farm yrs ago. we had a Stud in there. I walked in thru a pinch point of cedars and damn! there he was with a doe at 4yds. away. not a damn thing i could do. buddy got him the next week. 212lbs dressed and scored @160.I had him coming to me at daylite one cold morning in a little clearing in the cedars. doe came thru and gun up. could see top of his rack and grunting every breath. 15 more yrds. damn. owl flew into the tree i was at with a whole flock of crows squalking at it. deer gone. Eric killed him the next day.still haunts me.

That's how it goes sometimes, I've had numerous pictures of good deer and the neighbor kill them on his land. Nothing we can do about it but keep trying
