Ohio laws have changed

I had a no drill mount on the front of mine but was still happy to remove it.

 

Exacto knife, Bondo, & paint/texture match, perhaps?

I'd probably leave it on if the holes are there because that's the path of least resistance, but that's me.

 

I'm originally from PA where we were one of the few states that didn't have front plates. One of the very few things that I miss. Moved here in the '90s and am still not over my front plate issues nor factory mounts for them. So, I have done the same for each of our cars since.

The plates don't form nicely, but that is about as much respect as I can give it.

I haven’t ran a front license plate in Ohio since 2009. Never hassled and was pulled over a few times and didn’t have it mentioned.

But, it is nice to know that it is legal now

Yes, i wanted if to match the angle of the bumper. Small piece of 2x4, mallet and 5 mins.

It improves approach angle too, great free mod!

 

I hate the things so much that I just hand form them after get the top screws in.

Use 2 stainless screws it will look like it is suppose to be there.

 

Also in Ohio... When I bought my '19 back over a year ago the dealer told me the laws were changing this year. He gave me the bracket and everything and said if I wanted it put on they would. Nope. Been driving a year without the front plate, Cops never bothered me.

Now that I no longer live in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey and live in a good state I don't need no stinking front plate.
