I feel ya. You should have seen my dumb ass the other day. I went out to finally wire up my 3rd brake light. The fucking heat and humidity got the best of me and a couple hours later and a disaster with some silicone trying to reinvent the wheel and the entire assembly wound up in the trash. Now I need to buy another light. I replaced the original because it was getting condensation in it. So was the new one. :frusty:

Now I am thinking about mounting this in the recessed area instead.

    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/morimoto-5stop-brake-light-LED-5STOP?quantity=1

I know it's going to look very odd up there but this is inexpensive enough, DOT, all aluminum construction and completely waterproof. I wish it had 2 white lights on a separate circuit so I could have reverse up there too.

My other option is something a lot cheaper but that I would also need to make fit.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-10-15-...-Truck-Trailer-Marker-Sealed-Bar/372794034785

Both of these have a running light and brake light circuit. I like that option a lot.

I knew where babies came from and decided I should definitely get my own shit together before having to take responsibility for someone else.

Yea, you're right......... I said that about my Tundra, when I bought the 4Runner, then again about the 4Runner when I bought the first Tacoma.
I was ready to keep that one forever...................... Apparently the big guy upstairs had other plans for it. (note - not my fault)

I remember you posting about that when it happened. Things outside of your control there, brother. Just glad you made it through that one.

Well, I got the Dobinson snorkel installed this morning. Then a tech from another shop asked if I could press a new bearing on a hub & knuckle for his friends old Hyundai. I told him I wasn't even clocked in today as it was my day off....Did it anyway, but took some of my time away from working on my truck.:annoyed:
Then I sanded & painted the Mobtown tailgate skin and cap. ( Thanks again @ilubtimmyhos )
While that was drying, I started on the THOROUGH sound deadening of the front doors with the Noico mat and Noico foam mat on the inside of the door skins AND the door frames and installing the new JL Audio 6x9's and tweeters. Got both doors done. OMG what a difference!!!
Worked til 6pm and I had had enough of this heat. Next week I'll get to the rear doors and rear cab panel with more sound deadening and 6.5 JL Audio coaxial speakers. I swear my front doors now sound & feel like a woofer box:thumbsup:

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I had only seen it on my phone. I just looked at it looks like "Seafoam," a color Ford ran in the late 60's & early 70's. I think they revisited it a few years ago under a different name. I think I'll stick with Inferno.

Looks like it. Similar to a Ford color from the late 60's - early 70's called Seafoam. They had it on something more recent under a different name. I'll stick to my Inferno.

I've never had them. The front of the truck takes more abuse on my commute.
