Very interesting. I knew some folks with a schedule like that (3 x 13). They would get some nice OT since there was usually a 4th day of work. I was a bit envious.

 

I work 2 24 hour shifts but the day between, Saturday, I’m basically useless. Having Monday-Thursday off is pretty nice though.

Hell yeah. Those work days gotta be rough. Getting stuff done during the week would be worth it.

 

That's the best part. Open week days. I work 6 days a week and Sundays are useless. Shit doesn't even open till10!

Friday is Hell, Sunday is hit or miss. 4 days off while everyone else is working though is pretty much the best thing ever. I can easily get my errands and chores done, nobody is doing the same stuff I am. Even date nights are great because no crowds and no waits for a table at restaurants (you all remember when we could do that?).

 

Hell no. I work some six day schedules in a hump and did not do so well. My shit fell off.

 

Too right. No crowds. Though, I do notice that the blue and gray hairs around where roam the streets between 10a and 3p. I ain't getting anywhere fast.


So much opportunity for things that suck on the weekends.

 

And people wonder why I like Monday off. Can do/go whatever I need to do with fewer hassles.

I’m a paramedic

most of my bro’s do the same or similar, so we can do stuff during the week. For the trips that involve people with regular schedules, I have plenty of PTO to use to take weekends off or just trade shifts to work during the week instead. Depends on how saucy I feel
