I put a cold air intake on my 3rd GEN Pro and felt it made a significant difference (along with high octane gas). I am considering adding one to my second gen and Extreme Terrain website is suggesting a throttle body spacer. I’m not the most technical. 1. I want to make sure I can do this mod and 2. Thoughts on either or both of these? I am not at all unhappy with how my truck sounds or performs but who doesn’t want to do something cool to their taco? Thanks in advance for advice.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Prepare for plenty of bashing. However, if you like it then that is what counts. Most will agree that you already have a stock cold air supplying more than enough for a NA Taco 4.0L. The throttle body spacer may adjust your powerband a little. If you really want to wake up your truck and enjoy it al over again get an HP Tuner MPVI2 and 4 credits. Then let @JustDSM and @nd4spdbh set you up with a quality tune.

Are you talking a throttle body spacer or intake manifold spacer. Two very different things. The first (TB spacer) will not do a thing unless you are running early 90s throttle body injection.
