Where are you searching for a new or used Truck?

This is to find out if you have any good sources of used vehicles. I am currently searching High and Low for a GOOD truck at a GOOD price...

Ultimately I am obviously looking for a Tacoma. One that I could use for a good start to a project truck (used for Off Roading/Camping/Beach driving not looking for a beauty queen or a commuter. More so something I can ding up and get dirty):

• 1st or 2nd Gen
• 4x4
• Minimal Rust or No Rust
• Double cab (would 100% consider Ext Cab 1G if it was the right truck)
• Would consider 2.7 for 1G or 6 cyl for 2G
• Manual trans preferred (but not required)
• Relatively Low miles (<15K per year)
• Decently equipt. (Deluxe, SR5, Off Rroad or Sport... Just don't want a flat out base model)
• As close to or under $10K as possible...(this is the tough one)

Not as good as it used to be but still deals to be found occasionally

Growing in popularity & easy to use. Can also set up alerts whenever a vehicle is posted within your preferences using the phone app

Facebook marketplace
A bit annoying to use with filters but ever since craigslist put a listing fee for cars, facebook marketplace has been booming with car sale ads

Sorry if it is in the wrong place. I was inquiring about places to BUY/SELL/TRADE a truck. Figured this was the right place for that since it is the 'Buy / Sell / Trade' forum.

 

I used this to find the listing, then went to the dealers site to validate availability.

 

Sometimes driving through some neighborhoods you can see a for sale sign on a Tacoma, might get lucky and be a guy who doesnt use the internet and is a one owner truck, ik its not online but I always see cars for sale in peoples driveways, sometimes I drive by the same streets and notice the truck hasnt moved and wonder “are they selling that truck?”

 

I found a steal just by calling up toyota dealers and seeing what they had. The one I found was waiting for a new frame and wasn’t even listed for sale on their site.
