Im sure your trainer will help you out with some great info but this is always handy to have around...
    https://www.gundogsupply.com/waterdogdvd.html

And its funny how each dog has been different with his toys.
My bird dogs have always been savers and taken care of them.
My wolfs always seem to pull out the stuffing from the head, and cody just plain shreds them.

I usually just hit the dollar store and buy him five at a time then give them to him as needed. I figure why pay $$$ for something thats going to be destroyed in a couple of days.
I found this one at tractor supply, its a heavy canvas type material and has lasted a few weeks now, which is unusual for him.
I actually just re-stuffed it after he got all fired up when some kids visited that night and he pulled it all out.
He was using it for a pillow when I made a grab for the camera and he shifted positions.

You'll find what your pup likes.
Try a ball or some rope or a retrieving dummy or something.

    Thats a great idea!
All my dogs haved loved the snow but its a two hour drive in the summer.
I put a dozen minnows in the pool to keep them busy and wet when its hot like this.

I found the ideal online and had to try it. My pups stay inside during the summer since its so hot. Even camping if its really hot I'll ran the truck with the A/C going to let them enjoy the cool air.

Thats how my pups are. I'm actually surprised my older one hasn't figured out that he could serve them to himself. He's taught himself to open the truck windows, storm door and wire crate doors.

As stated already, you just need to find what your pup likes. My pit didn't like to fetch. My wife taught her how much fun it is, now she LOVES fetch. We also play "gimme dat ball!!," which is basically just tag because she's too fast for me. I just chase her around trying to get the ball, but she makes circles and figure eights to avoid me with a shit-eating grin on her face. The moment I say "gimme dat ball!" she takes off happy as can be, I love it! However, if I tell her to DROP IT! she will stop 99% of the time and give me the ball.

edit: Also, dog pic! We got the pup 5/2019, our cat has been less than impressed. The dog loves the cat, however the kitty does not reciprocate. That said, a few days ago she started to lay near Mo (the pup), and doesn’t get scared when she walks by.

Edit2- the scale randomly placed in the background is so I can track Mo's weight as she grows. ;) She's up to 54lbs, hasn't gotten any taller. I expect she'll fill out a bit more, maybe up to 55-56lbs.

The cat is the queen, she beats the snot out of the dog when needed. Otherwise she’s a fat happy lump.

The new addition to it family . Might be the last puppy we go thru. Should be awesome once she gets past her teething and puppyhood but for now her mission is to drive us crazy
She’ll be a full size standard poodle

    Dogs look good in hats.
I dont know what their problem is wearing them :notsure:

He acted like I was torturing him or something.
Maybe if they could talk, theyd tell us how men in hats is just not cool?
