    How’s the bike?? Been riding??

    EDIT:

Also some dude told me a pinch of salt in black coffee takes the bitterness out...what say the coffee aficionado??

I think he’s full of it.

Sure have been. 2 hour ride last Sunday, got myself a bitchin farmers tan and glove line tan. Then today took her up to a brewery about 30 mins away.

I’ve heard of the salt in coffee thing. I haven’t researched it. best guess: you don’t need it I’m properly brewed coffee, but it could work in shitty diner coffee or other.

I haven’t watched it yet, I’ll watch it later though, this man is the coffee guru. I watch all his videos on espresso, cupping, technique, etc.

Got it, thanks for the information. If I can find the overflow passage on these carbs and confirm the leak was in the same general area, I might be on the correct track. I will also double-check the gaskets that I replaced.

I did not split the carbs, but these carbs were from another bike and somebody else had already worked on them before myself. I have no way to know what kind of work was done on them or how skilled the person was, but they were complete and and in very good shape with new jets, needles and other parts.

I will take them apart on the workbench this week and see what's going on in there. Thanks to everybody for the continued advice and help.

Ive been thinking about the Scrambler alot. There is the Icon and the Icon Dark. The dark one is a super bare bones version - no built in usb port, non-LED turn signals, junkier mirrors. Which means less $. I mean I should get that because i love the blacked out look, and ill probably change out the mirrors and signals too. But I actually like the yellow one. The handle bars are weird. Id probably change them out for some Renthal bars with that cross brace.

Thank you! I thought it was a cool shot... but no I don't really know what I'm doing lol

Creek Rd is so fun - narrow, twisty, and nice scenery

I have a 690e. Constantly ride mine at 80 to work with zero issues. Ridden it from kc to st.louis (4hr) all highway there and back in a day with zero issues (two days in a row). It works but a bigger bike would be easier on something like that but i dont want a bigger bike.

I have mine converted to sm with stock sprocket so it runs ~500rpm higher as well.

The floats may need to be re-leveled. Do you have a factory service manual?
