A question about BRAKES

    I have a GEN 2 2009 access cab.
    4 cyl. 5 speed.
    I long time ago, I ordered a set of brakes for my truck, pads and shoes that did NOT FIT.
    Does the 4x4 have different brakes?
    Or does the 6 lug...like a Pre Runner have different brakes?
    (Than the 5 lug small pattern trucks)
    The brakes I ordered claimed to fit a 2009 Tacoma.
    But the pads and the shoes are a bit different in size and shape.

    Yup, 5 lug and 6 lug are completely different. 4x4 doesnt matter, its the bolt pattern.
