I still write checks

Edit: i use them as cash for things like haircuts or paying people...because i hate carrying cash

 

Hell I'll send you a check for $.01 just so you can say you got a check from the Ho, and under description it'll say "services rendered"

 

We were at an outlet mall in Branson several years ago (shoot me now)...anyhow, I bought a pair of shoes and handed the gal cash...she gave me that look and told me it may take a minute, she wasn't sure how to process cash.

 

When I was a kid my dad was a fireman, on 24, off 48. If he had to work on a Sunday we would always go see him. I used to ask mom if we could stop by K-Mart, she always said "we don't have any money" I'd say "you got checks". I thought if you had checks then you had money, boy was I wrong.

You know that they make little plastic cards now a days that go in machines and do all the math for you, right?

 

Yerp! I got a friend to check for codes so I could do it that way but there weren't any codes so I did it this way.

 

Some places don't accept those. But otherwise, it's card everything. Especially with USAA, i get good cash back and it's easy to keep track of everything,

 

We use our cards for cash back.

So....are you using a checkbook at the bar?

 

That would be a disaster. It would be completely illegible by the end of the night.
