    I grew up a Marine brat so I know where your coming from, however it wasn't that bad. Segregation and busing in the 70's didn't help though. Yes, and I still have a rotary. B/W tv you mean with 5 channels. School was weird because it was when we were between the english and metric system so teachers were just glad that we were graduating and outta their hair.
