That's a good sign, it's recently been on the back of my mind to trade up my truck but I still absolutely love the 6MT that I always knock myself in the head and stop considering it. I just hit 30k miles on my 2017 this morning. Anyone want to buy it? LOL meticulously maintained by an overly OCD Tacoma fanatic.

I am in Canada but picked up my 2019 DCLB 4x4 SR5 for $34,700. That comes out to about $25,600 USD. It had 22k km on it. (About 14k mi) I would do a hard pass on that truck with 100k mi on it. Keep looking.

I got my brand new TRD Sport 2019 for 32k. So, 27k for that is obscene.

You are only a few thousand away from a new one. That'd likely be your better bet.

I sold my 2015 TRD Sport with 41k miles for $27,900 in March. One year newer with two and a half times the mileage (and the shittier 3.5, FIGHT ME!) seems priced high. That said, its a seller's market now where people are scooping shit up and the lots are empty so who knows.. Check NADA.com and KBB.com for what ball-park pricing should be. Toyotas go forever as far as the 100k goes (if they're taken care of) but there's MUCH better deals out there.

I prob wouldn’t pay more than 24k total for that truck. And don’t forget about financing on used trucks. 100k miles = you’ll be in for a ton of maintenance work. Much better off buying new

I used to buy vehicles like this, and a couple years later, found myself stuck still
paying on a an old worn out vehicle that needed maintenance.
then one day I decided I was going to be the one to buy a new (or nearly new) high resale vehicle, and I'd be the one selling a 5-6 year old vehicle with a 100k on it, for nearly new prices. Of course you need to buy it right in the first place, but it's done everyday. Try it, you may like it.

Agree with a lot of these folks. Miles are rarely a problem with these trucks, but the price is high. I paid 34k OTD for a brand new 2015 Tacoma.

I paid $21,500 OTD for a 2017 SR AC 4x4 with 36k miles in January..
I'd wait on a better deal myself..

I traded my 2014 Tacoma in for my new Limited. It had 33K on it. I asked the sales guy, for future reference, at what point does a Tacoma's trade in/resale value drop off. He told me, not so much the year, but at 100K value goes down quick.

Take this for what it's worth. Yeah, I know, it was free...
