I think I blew a fuse for the left headlight. Some suggestions anyone?

    Hey TW.

I watched a video on how to install raptor lights. The person on the video said to connect it to the 10A INJ fuse if you want the raptor lights on even without the headlights. I did that....turned on my truck then BOOM > cranks but doesn't start > Low Oil Pressure msg and Brake Malfunction override msg.

Put the 10A INJ fuse back in and message went away. Raptor lights work now that I've plugged it in to the headlight 10A. But now the left headlight (If you are standing facing the grill) doesn't turn on.

Test it with different bulbs, check the fuses itself and nothing is broken. Idk what it is.

I might take it into the dealership. Anyone run into this before? What did you do to fix it if you were able to?

If you spliced into the headlight bundle make sure the splice is clamped all the way down. In fact, just double check your splices. Too much is working for that to be an overly complicated problem.

Wow nice. How do I read that exactly?

Looks like the 15A powers both the 10As? Is that right?

Yes. So if ones goes, like it happened to you, you still have one light.
15A is always hot, as in powered. The 10A only get power after the relay closes, which happens when you select headlights on the stalk by the steering.

So if I were to plug my add-a-fuse to 15A, the raptor lights would stay on all the time? :)
