I was like "gonna keep it stock, it's fine" but the dog told me to shut up and take her more interesting places, so I started bolting things on. Now I have to write this up so I can remember what I've done.

She's a corgi mix, most likely w/ some red heeler and new zealand heading dog. Awesome doggo.

 

My son has a Cardigan Corgi, awesome dog that I refer to as my grandson. I thought yours looked like it had some Corgi in its blood line.

After a bunch of time messing around with handhelds, mag mount antennas run inconveniently out windows or in the way of racks, etc, I finally like my antenna setup.

I routed the cable next to the drain hose going through the passenger side of the firewall.

My BSM system started acting up, intermittently beeping and showing "Check BSM System" on the dash. Sometimes this beep happened every few minutes, sometimes a couple of times a second in rapid succession. Felt like a loose wire or a short or something, and I was suspicious of the connector going into the sensor, but couldn't diagnose it at the time. I disconnected the BSM harness, and drove another few thousand miles in peace and quiet, then finally dropped the bumper to check it out.

Several trips worth of mud and sand were sitting up against the bottom of the sensor (washed periodically, but definitely not often enough) and also worked into the space between the sensor and the plastic panel. The (aluminum?) backing plate on the sensor was corroded at the bottom, and the bottom tab snapped off of the backing plate on both sides. The lower-most captive nut also came off on both sides. The sensor's connector looked fine and dry on both sides.
