Just traded the old (2011) Taco for a shiny new one.
What's up guys, John here. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA originally and stationed in San Diego. I've always been a car guy, but haven't gotten around to modding a 4x4 truck, so I'm hoping to change that soon on my 2nd Gen(2011) Taco.

Just trying to get up to speed on the acronyms and off-road lingo and get ready to pop my cherry on a first lift kit and oversized wheels and tires.

Where would be a good place to start for roughly a 2" lift? What size wheels and tires could I run? Is it possible to do it with quality parts for under $1000?

Thanks in advance and looking forward to the journey into Taco World.

Welcome y'all :hattip: Doing a 2" lift for that number might be tough task with quality parts. Do your thread searches on here and I bet you can find what will fit your budget.
