As a Yeti owner, I couldn't give a shit what they call the groups of riders that also have Yetis. (I tend to avoid other Yeti owners anyway)

You asked me this in the PM, but I'll post it in the open for transparency / peer review.

1: thicker stanchions (35v36) means the front will feel less squiggly. I think you and I are about the same weight at ~200ish as I remember
2: 35 Gold RL fork is a pretty budget minded fork. Good, but not great, esp for a progressing rider.
3: The 36 can be travel adjusted with a few parts/tools. That means if you decide to move on to a new bike later, you could bring this fork with you to a new frame. Or toss in the longer travel internals for bike park days, etc.

Ok so overall size being larger and stronger, adjustability, and general performance in a “comfort” sense if I put it in easy to understand format lol

I'd say they are. BC trails are notorious for their northshore features, but are also known for their punishing climbs to earn those cedar lined turns.

no, as long as you turn the bars 90 degrees and secure the fork in the loops

kind of depends. Full sized pad for multiple bikes, or just to throw my bike over and go. The bomber is a little more meticulous to do, but it doesn’t block the rear cam and I worry less about dirt getting up under the pad when I’m going off pavement to trails.

I think so. I have maybe 40 miles on it so far and have had no issues with how it climbs.

@stronghammer The collective has spoken so I’ll be brief. Buy the fork @Gunshot-6A is selling. I’m sure his price is fair. In addition to the advantages already mentioned, I’d be willing to bet that 36 will even be a hair lighter than your RS.

In my experience, yes. I had a mid-2000s slayer back when I lived in CO/NM. Kept riding it when I moved back to GA. Obviously that’s way too much bike for the XC trails I was riding. Aside from the extra weight and some pedal bob the thing was phenomenal even out if it’s element.

@stronghammer and I came to a consensus. He'll have some shiny new* parts late next week probably.

Knowing you two, there's going to be a rub-n-tug involved as part of the deal. I wont speculate as to who is doing what.
