So I was able to correct my loose bed.

The stupid stealership had simply over tightened the passenger side bed bolt to 'fix it'. This crushed the sleeve that the bolt goes through slightly.

We removed the sleeve, corrected it so it was flush at the top and round again.

Then took a 3" x 3" piece of plastic, drilled a hole large enough so the sleeve goes through, but the bed rests on top of it. Lifted the bed and inserted the plastic, put the sleeve back in, and bolt back in.

I can now hear the new plastic surface rubbing when the bed flexes. So it is working.

The problem is that both the Rubicon and top dog Bronco will both be more upgrades compared to the other models like lockers gears and 35s

Where a pro is entry level suspension and an et looking snorkel with a fancy paint option and fake leather interior. For 13k more than an off-road.

At least they actually get something for the money. Toyota you just get a status and mid life crisis looking monstrosity

Welp probably the best part of the new bronco is that it will push other auto makers to make actually decent offroad spec vehicles so in 10 years ill have a nice selection to pick from in the bone yard.
No chance ill ever finance a vehicle im planing on off roading again...

When the Pro was first introduced in 2015, I said Toyota was going after all the "dealer specials" - the trucks with cheap spacer lifts and ghey wheels marked up $15k in the showroom.

It doesn't help that the Ranger is now priced similarly high, giving Toyota less incentive to compete.

Does anyone use a Accessories mount with a tablet for gps? If so can you please share I'd like to set something up but dont want the trial and error associated with new things, just want something proven already to work. thanks and if its a bad idea please let me know.

I don't run a tablet GPS but i do use this guy for my phone's GPS while driving
    https://www.scosche.com/magicmounttm-dash
i've never had my phone fall off of the mount in the 2 years i've had it, this includes the Algonquin trip i did 2 weeks ago.

Granted the company has a "stronger" version of it under a "XL" name (there is also a pro and elite) which you could look into that are made specifically for tablets. I can't stand the "clamp" style mounts, but that's my 2 cents

You have a 2nd gen. Why bother with a tablet? Just get a cheap head unit running Android with a 9" screen (like I did with my Subaru) and run all the apps you want on it.

Exactly why I transitioned over to overlanding.
Wish I still had the energy to cut trails and change parts in the bush.

That's one thing I like about the new Bronco, you can record gps tracks, follow maps etc with the stock entertainment unit.

I'm looking for a mounting system for my truck as well for the phone, tablet etc. I know there are a bunch of setups available for 3rd gen not sure about second. Here's one I found,https://expeditionessentials.com/collections/frontpage .

my likes. I use a suction cup ram mount on the windshield and a couple of vehicles later still good, jumps around a bit but i gather they all will.

looked at the video for instll and the price for the 2nd gen model and I'm thinking........ ah..... I don't know.

there was something I seen that was a bracket that was stuck on the sides of the radio and you just slip your tablet over the radio. but it was for I pad not samsung.

thanks guys for your suggestions and for sharing your set up's
